1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch garlic powder (optional)
Pinch onion powder (optional)
Pinch paprika (optional)
1⁄2 teaspoon Dijon or mustard powder
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup olive oil – light, dark or a mixture.
DIRECTIONS
Put egg, salt and spices in a tall narrow container that just fits your stick blender. Add the olive oil and lemon juice into the container. Making sure your stick blender is off, place it all the way to the bottom of the container. Turn it on low and slowly pull up through the mixture. If there’s oil on the top you can partially plunge the stick blender 1/2 way down a couple of times. You can use any type of oil you like.
